A Erie County Sheriff's spokesperson said the search turned up with no explosives.

Bullis Rd. resident Jim Gilmore, saw the police activity outside of Kaiser's residence, he tells News 4, "I'm kind of shocked. This is a very quiet neighborhood, we usually don't have these kinds of events. I'm at a loss for words as to why like I said, we've never had a problem with them anyway. They've always seemed like decent folks. We definitely never heard any explosions or anything like that."

Lt. Nick Bado from the Town of Tonawanda Police says, "If someone were to plant a device trying to make it look as if it was real, even though it turned out not to be real, there are charges that would be appropriate for that. But, it doesn't sound as if he had intent to make people concerned trying to make this look like it was a real explosive."

Kaiser will not face any charges from Tuesday’s incident, since the grenade was just a novelty however, he is facing a weapons charge out of the Town of Leroy in Genesee County.

A clerk out of the Town of Leroy said that Kaiser is scheduled to make an appearance on Wednesday afternoon.
