DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) - A driver who struck and killed a teenager in Depew will not spend time in jail.

The Buffalo News reports 35-year-old Radames Candelaria pleaded guilty to reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor. Police say he fell asleep at the wheel last July and hit 18-year-old Ashley Creighton at a bus stop on Broadway.

Candelaria will be placed on probation as part of the plea.
