Officials make four burglary arrests

PAVILION, N.Y. (WIVB) - After a three-and-a-half month investigation, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office has has made four arrests in connection to two burglaries at a home in the Town of Pavilion.

The sheriff’s office has been investigating the burglaries at a home on Telephone Road. The first burglary involved two people who took cash from a wallet and purse. The second burglary allegedly involved three people who stole a safe.

Police say 20-year-old John Oshea, of Leroy, was arrested for one count of second-degree burglary and one count of second-degree grand larceny, for the role he played in the second incident. Oshea was taken to Genesee County Jail on June 1st on $25,000 bail, and has been in jail since his arrest.

On June 7th, 20-year-old Dylan Hawkins, of Pavilion, was arrested for two counts of second-degree burglary, one count of fourth-degree grand larceny and one county of second-degree grand larceny, for the roles he allegedly played in both burglaries. He was taken to jail on $25,000 bail and has been in jail since his arrest in early June.

On June 8th, 20-year-old Anthony Gonzales, of Leroy, was arrested for one county of second-degree burglary and once count of second-degree grand larceny, for the role he allegedly played in the second burglary. He was arraigned and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

On August 31st, 22-year-old Joshua Bratcher, of Leroy, was charged with one county of second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny for the role he played in the first incident. He was committed to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
