DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police in Dunkirk have made one arrest and are searching for another man in two unrelated stabbings that happened a short time apart last Friday.
Authorities took 22-year-old Christian Muller into custody on Thursday and charged him with second degree assault in connection with the first stabbing that happened November 9 on Central Avenue. He is currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $50,000 bail.
The second stabbing happened a short time later on Lincoln Avenue. Police are searching for 26-year-old Candido Pagan-Hernandex in connection with that case and say he will be charged with first degree assault. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Dunkirk Police at 366-2266 or leave an anonymous tip at 363-0313.
Both victims in the separate stabbings are expected to recover.
