Overnight shooting leaves one dead

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead along the 100 block of Woodlawn Avenue Thursday night.

Just before 7 p.m., Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives say two males were shot. 27-year-old Joseph Lester of Buffalo died at Buffalo General Hospital.

20-year-old Clyde Hoskin of Buffalo was taken to ECMC where he was treated and released.

Detectives believe the suspect (s) came up to both individuals and began to open fire.
