NEW HUDSON, N.Y. (WIVB - Two men from Allegany County are behind bars, charged with making meth.
Authorities from multiple agencies raided the Rawson Road home in the Town of New Hudson on Wednesday and arrested 21-year-old Jarod Poulin. In Poulin's home, police they found a meth operation. 25-year-old Brady Demmick of Cuba was also taken into custody at the home.
Poulin was charged with third degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, fifth degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree endangering the public safety, prohibited burning, and unlawful disposal of solid waste. Demmick was charged with third degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of solid waste.
Both men were arraigned and taken to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Authorities say additional state and federal charges against both men may be forthcoming.
