CATTARAUGUS INDIAN RESERVATION (WIVB) - A teen was taken into custody Tuesday after having to be separated from his father during a fight in the middle of the street.
State Police and Erie County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Route 438 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation for a disturbance. Authorities say 18-year-old Brandon Brooks was drunk and attempting to fight his father while standing in the roadway.
Brooks had to be separated from his father and then yelled at a trooper and tried to physically intimidate officers to avoid being arrested, according to police.
The teen was physically removed from the scene and placed into a patrol car. He is charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration and second degree resisting arrest.
He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center after being arraigned in Town of Collins Court.
