BATH, N.Y. (AP) - State police looking for a stolen lawnmower in western New York say they found it being ridden by a drunk driver.
Troopers say the 28-year-old man was spotted on the Craftsman mower in the village of Bath, where he lives. They say his blood alcohol level was 0.1 percent, just above the 0.08 percent legal limit.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation on Wednesday. As of Friday he was still being held at the Steuben County Jail. Village court officials weren't available to say if he has a lawyer.
