WARSAW, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Warsaw man who allegedly violently attacked a woman last September was arrested by State Police over the weekend for a second alleged attack on the victim.
Richard Huehn, 43, of Warsaw was arrested on Saturday at a home on Merchant Road by troopers after he allegedly attacked his female victim, choking her and preventing her from leaving the home to seek help from the police.
Police say the victim already had an order of protection against Huehn for an incident in September, where authorities say Huehn violently attacked the woman, kneeing her, kicking her and throwing her against a wall. To escape that incident, police say the victim was forced to spray wasp spray into Huehn's eyes.
Huehn is locked on in the Wyoming County Jail on $50,000 bail. He's facing charges of third degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, third degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, second degree unlawful imprisonment, second degree obstructing governmental administration, and second degree harassment.
