JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man hid bolt cutters in his duffel bag and used them to cut the lock off a locker at the Jamestown YMCA and steal cash, according to authorities.
Jamestown Police arrested Matthew Piscitelli on Tuesday and charged him with larceny, possession of burglar's tools and violating his parole. Officers say Piscitelli was seen on surveillance video walking into the YMCA Tuesday with a duffel bag and later leaving.
Detectives determined Piscitelli was responsible for cutting a lock off a locker in the men's locker room and stealing cash inside. Investigators caught up to him and say they found the cash stolen from the victim.
Piscitelli was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail pending a parole hearing.
