ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Attica Police have arrested a 70-year-old man they say shot a weapon inside his apartment that went into an adjoining apartment.
James Stedman Wheeler was taken into custody at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday. Police were called to Wheeler's Main Street apartment on reports of shots fired. Officers say the round Wheeler let loose went through several walls and came to rest in the kitchen of adjoining apartment. Police say they also found Wheeler was growing marijuana inside his home.
Wheeler is charged with second degree reckless endangerment, fourth degree criminal mischief, unlawfully growing cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
