BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 29-year-old man has been accused of shooting a .22 caliber rifle at cars and houses across three counties in western New York.

On July 10th, the Erie County Sheriff's Office says Eric Easton of Ham Road in Alabama went on a shooting spree, hitting properties in Erie, Genesee and Niagara counties. Easton was charged with first degree reckless endangerment and second degree criminal mischief while locked up in the Erie County Holding Center on a DWI charge.

Since then, Easton was taken to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office to face similar charges in their jurisdiction.
