WEBSTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - Autopsy results have been released, after the tragic shootings in Webster on Christmas Eve morning.
According to the New York State Police, the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office have found that Michael Chiapperini died as a result of a single gunshot wound. Results show Tomasz Kaczowka died as a result of two gunshot wounds.
The suspect, William Spengler, died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot to his head according the autopsy results. The results show there was no evidence of any other gunshot wounds to Mr. Spengler.
The remains located at 191 Lake Road are still being confirmed at this time. Authorities believe they are the remains of the suspect’s 67-year- old sister, Cheryl.
Investigators are still working to trace the weapons used in the incident, and how the suspect could have possessed them.
