LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lockport man is behind bars after State Police say he assaulted a child under the age of 2, breaking the child's arm.
Troopers began there investigation after Niagara County Child Protective Services were notified that the child was being treated at a local hospital for a broken arm. Police say they discovered 23-year-old Michael Zinck was caring for the child when he threw the child, causing the injury.
Zinck was arraigned on charges of second degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child before being taken to the Niagara County Jail on $2,500 bail.
