JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police say a man on the southern tier repeatedly sexually abused a young child.

Thirty-year-old Jason Alexander of Jamestown was arrested late Thursday night. Jamestown Police have charged Alexander with three counts of second degree course of sexual conduct against a child. The charge means that over a period of three months or more, Alexander allegedly had sexual contact or intercourse with a child less than 11-years-old.

He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail following his arraignment.
