AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Amherst Police say someone entered the back room of a Main Street convenience store and stole more than $1,500 worth of cigarettes. Police say the incident happened on February 2nd, while the store clerk was helping customers.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5’9” and 200 pounds. They say he was wearing a blue coat, black baseball cap with no logo, blue jeans and tan work style boots. The suspect appeared to have a mustache and may have been with a white female, 5’6” with red hair.
