Police seek woman who took diamond ring

GETZVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police are looking for a woman who stole a diamond ring from a Getzville restaurant this past weekend.

Amherst Police say the suspect took the ring around 10 p.m. Saturday night. The woman is described as black and 5'8" tall. She was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a maroon shirt, and white pants that may have been scrubs worn by doctors and nurses.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 689-1339.
