BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police spent nearly two hours negotiating with a man holed up in a home on Hinman Avenue on Thursday.
Officers were called when the man in his 50s was said to be acting irrationally and was suicidal. Police arrived on scene around 12:45 p.m. at Hinman and Military. Around two hours later, the man surrendered to authorities without incident. He was taken to the VA Hospital for observation.
Police say there's no indication the man had a weapon and there are no charges against him at this time.
