BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - An 18-year-old girl has been arrested after police say she threatened to use a weapon at a Buffalo school.
Buffalo Police say they began investigating Wednesday night after learning about the Facebook threat involving the use of a weapon at Bennett High School. Around 3 a.m. Thursday morning, Adrianna Hunley was taken into custody and charged with making a terroristic threat.
As a precaution, extra School Resource Officers and 'E' District officers provided security at Bennett on Thursday. A spokeswoman for the Buffalo Public Schools tells News 4 students were checked in with wands, without incident.
