BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police have arrested a woman who they say stabbed her longtime boyfriend to death during an argument at their Gerhardt Street apartment Sunday night.
Police arrived at the home around 9:15 p.m. and discovered 59-year-old Ronald Wilson had been stabbed in the chest. He was rushed to ECMC, but was declared dead upon arrival. The suspect, 54-year-old Darleen Benson, a.k.a. Darlene Seay, was arrested at the scene.
According to Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives, "The two were involved in an altercation, which was fueled by alcohol and drug use, which ultimately resulted in the loss of a life."
Benson was arraigned Monday morning on charges of second degree murder and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
