BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A juror who was removed from the Dr. James Corasanti trial because of a DWI charge was sentenced in court on Monday.
Forty-year-old Michael Barron received a conditional discharge in Town of Tonawanda Court. Barron was previously charged with driving with a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit when he hit a utility pole on Elmwood Avenue and fled the scene.
The exact details behind the ruling were not released.
Barron was juror number four in Corasanti’s DWI manslaughter trial. As a result of Barron's arrest, the judge dismissed him on day five of the trial.
