BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A drug kingpin who operated in western New York will spend nine years in prison.

Michael McCall, 60, of Buffalo schooled people on how to get prescriptions from their doctors for narcotic medications. Prosecutors say McCall would then supply the tablets to distributors for further resale.

McCall was arrested in July 2010 with 34 others, and 33 of the defendants have been convicted.
