Senior citizen accused of $20 robbery

LEON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police say a senior citizen threatened a man with a weapon and stole $20 from him on the southern tier.

In the Town of Leon last Thursday, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Deputies took 68-year-old Dennis Ziegler into custody. Officers say at 2:30 in the afternoon, Ziegler threatened a Gowanda man on Mosher Hollow Road and robbed him of $20.

Ziegler is charged with first degree robbery and was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $7,000 bail.
