BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Gunfire erupted outside of a sports bar on Buffalo's east side early Friday morning.

Buffalo Police say the incident was chaotic. Family members tell News 4 that 20-year-old Andrew Pitts was killed. Police say he was shot in the upper body and died from his injuries.

A large police response arrived at the scene around 2:30 a.m. after a call of shots fired outside Pandora's Sports Bar at Victoria and Fillmore. A large part of the intersection was surrounded by police cars and yellow crime scene tape.

Police searched for evidence, empty shell casings, bullets, anything that would tip detectives off to who was responsible for the fatal shooting. Authorities say they believe a fight that started in the bar, spilled out onto the street and ended with the shooting.

A second victim, a 21-year-old man, was taken to ECMC where he was treated and released for a gunshot wound to the hand.
