ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Wyoming County teen is facing charges after an altercation an Attica home Friday.

The sheriff’s office says a 17-year-old boy became “irate” during a verbal altercation with his mother. The teen is accused of using a sledge hammer to damage the kitchen cabinets. During the altercation, the sheriff’s office says the boy grabbed his mother.

The teen is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
