BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Monday, a heartbreaking murder case was scheduled to return to a Buffalo courtroom. Monday morning the case was adjourned until Thursday.

Ali Mohamed Mohamud is facing second-degree murder charges over the beating death of his young stepson.

The body of Abdi Mohamed was found in the basement of his family's east side home back in April.

Mohamud's murder trial is set to begin next month.
