Surrender in sexual contact of minor

OAKFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Genesee county man surrendered to police Friday afternoon and was charged in connection with sexual contact with a minor.

John W. Eastridge, 40, of Oakfield, was being investigated following a complaint that he had sexual contact with a girl under the age of 11 in Batavia.  The incident allegedly took place more than three years ago, in September 2009.

Eastridge has a scheduled court appearance next Thursday, November 15.
