FREDONIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police say they caught a drunk driver because she was tailgating another vehicle while driving on Rt. 20 in Fredonia.
Troopers say just after midnight on Sunday, 21-year-old Paige Niedbalski of Irving was stopped for tailgating. State Police say Niedbalski failed several field sobriety tests, and troopers say they found a pipe with burnt marijuana residue inside her vehicle. Niedbalski was arrested, and at the barracks, police say she blew a .19 percent BAC, over twice the legal limit.
She will appear in court mid-September to answer charges of aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.
