Teacher assaulted in Jamestown school

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 17-year-old is under arrest after allegedly assaulting a teacher at the Gustavus Adolphus School in Jamestown.
The 39-year-old female victim sustained injuries to her hand and back in the attack, which Jamestown Police say happened around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Officers took the male student into custody and charged him with second degree assault.
Authorities have not released further information about the attack.
