ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Attica police officer was injured Tuesday, during an incident involving an allegedly combative teenager.
Police say Officer Christopher Graham was sent to a home on Lincoln Avenue at 7:45 p.m. regarding a disturbance. Police say 18-year-old Timothy D. Johnson because combative and had to to be subdued.
According to police, Johnson was taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital for treatment, where he had to be subdued in another altercation involving Officer Graham. During that incident, Office Graham sustained a shoulder injury.
He and Johnson were both treated and released from the hospital. Johnson was charged with felony assault of a police officer, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.
In connection to this incident, 23-year-old Katelyn Kubala was arrested at the Lincoln Avenue address during the first call for allegedly possessing a hypodermic instrument. You can see both Kubala and Johnson's mug shots in our photo gallery.
