BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The teen accused of burning a puppy was back in court Friday. Nineteen-year-old Adell Zeigler was assigned an attorney to fight the charges against him.

Police say Zeigler and 17-year-old Diondre Brown tortured and burned a young dog , now named Phoenix. They are charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals, and could face up to four years behind bars.
