Teen charged with murdering his uncle

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Niagara Falls teen has been arrested on charges he murdered his 37-year-old uncle on Tuesday.

Police say 18-year-old Darius Manuel Belton turned himself into police headquarters on Friday, accompanied by his lawyer. Authorities say Belton and his mother, Deon Ubiles, were arguing with Luis Ubiles, Belton's uncle, on Tuesday when Belton shot Luis in the chest. Luis died a short time later.

Belton has been charged with second degree murder and first degree criminal use of a firearm.
