BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - He admitted to being drunk when he drove off the road, killing a teenage girl and injuring two others. Monday, Bradley Maloney learned his fate.

The emotion-packed courtroom was overflowing with family and friends, and almost everyone had tears streaming down their faces. Maloney was sentenced to six months in jail and five years probation.

First, 13-year-old Elizabeth Szewczyk's mother Michelle addressed the court. Her daughter was critically injured back on January 28th when 19-year-old Bradley Maloney, got behind the wheel after drinking, and ended up crashing his convertible into a ravine of Versailles Plank Road on the way to an apparent drinking party at a cottage in Sunset Bay. Fourteen-year-old Angela Keim was killed.

Her father George Kuntz wears his daughters ashes around his neck. George spoke with us after learning that Maloney would be serving five years probation and six months jail time, because his lawyer argued he was developmentally disabled.

Maloney's attorney says he was hanging out with 13 year old girls because he didn't have any other friends and was picked on in school.

Angela's dad says there were other adults, some as old as 50, buying the young teens alcohol.
