WESTFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - An 18-year-old is charged with DWI after deputies say he left the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports Tyler Berry of Portland was involved in a car accident on McKinley Road in Westfield around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Berry left the scene of the accident. Deputies caught up to Berry at his Portland home and found he was intoxicated.

He was arrested and charged with DWI and being a minor in possession of alcohol. Berry will answer those charges in court at a later date.
