BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A church bus driver charged in the death of a 10-year-old boy will learn her fate next month.
Testimony ended Friday in the non-jury trial of Miriam Shipman. Lawyers for the family of Darpan Niroula say Shipman did not stop the church bus she was driving after she hit Niroula last year on the city's west side. Shipman is charged with failure to exercise due care, and operating a bus with bad brakes.
A judge will render a verdict on December 4.
