Thief robs home, leaves behind a ring

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A thief in Jamestown tried to make a clean getaway but the burglar left something behind at the scene of the crime.
Police believe a burglar lost a ring while breaking into a home on Charlotte Avenue over the weekend. The thief stole several items from the house.
Jamestown Police are taking tips at 483-8477.
