JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jamestown Police busted a marijuana growing operation in the city after receiving a tip a power supply to a home had been tampered with.
On Tuesday, officers raided a home on Lafayette Street and found over 100 marijuana plants, two pounds of dried marijuana, a quantity of cocaine, two long guns, and marijuana growing equipment inside. The occupant, 49-year-old Patrick Silk, is charged with second degree criminal possession of marijuana, unlawfully growing marijuana, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, theft of services, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Silk was being held Tuesday night pending his arraignment.
