TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Town of Tonawanda Councilman Daniel J. Crangle is in trouble with the law.
Crangle is charged with Stalking in the 3rd Degree and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. Police say the victim is his wife.
According to Town of Tonawanda police, the harassment charges stem from a threat Crangle made. His wife called police at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
An order of protection was given to the woman.
He was already arraigned and released on his own recognizance by Judge Scott Reardon from the Village of Kenmore.
When News 4's Lou Raguse spoke with Crangle on the phone Saturday, Crangle said the incident was a misunderstanding between he and his wife.
