WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man and juvenile couldn't avoid the long arm of the law.
It took five months, but deputies caught up to 24-year-old James Williamson of North Tonawanda and a juvenile male, arresting both for first degree robbery. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says Williamson and the juvenile held up the 7-Eleven store on Plaza Drive in Wheatfield last September using a handgun, stealing cash, cigarettes and a donation jar.
Both were arrested and arraigned on Friday.
