BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police were searching the yard of a home on Woodlawn in the city Thursday night after two people were shot.

The pair were hit by gunfire around 7 p.m. right across the street from the Performing Arts High School. One man was shot in the shoulder and is being treated at ECMC. The other man was killed.

Buffalo Police welcome the public's tips, which can be left confidentially by calling 847-2255.
