WESTFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two men have been arrested for allegedly trying to cut off catalytic converters at a car sales lot on the southern tier.
Nathan Horton, 27, and Johnathan Hudson, 26, both of Westfield, turned themselves into Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies on Monday. Authorities say both men attempted to cut off catalytic converters from two cars at the lot on January 7. Investigators determined Horton and Hudson were responsible and warrants were issued for their arrests.
The suspects turned themselves in Monday and will face charges of second degree criminal mischief and criminal liability for the conduct of another.
Hudson was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. Horton was released to family members. Both men are due back in court at a later date.
