PORTLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say they located a wanted man last week, when they were called to an address in Portland because of an unwanted guest. At the address, police say they located 32-year-old Rodney Clyburn in a bedroom.
Clyburn, who was wanted by the City of Dunkirk Police on harassment, criminal trespass and criminal mischief charges, was turned over to City of Dunkirk Police. State Police say that after the arrest, the complainant contacted them again, saying they found contraband in the area that Clyburn had been in.
State Police Police say they confiscated the drugs in the room where he was staying. Police then charged him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Controlled Substance, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
Clyburn was arraigned in the Town of Portland and sent to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,500 and $5,000 property.
