CUBA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A rural mail carrier has admitted that for two years, she collected unemployment benefits from the USPS while working for other jobs.
Federal authorities say 37-year-old Jennifer Moshier of Cuba collected just over $7,500 in benefits between August of 2009 and July of 2011. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Moshier did not report income from three other employers during that time period.
Moshier will be sentenced for theft of government funds in January. She could face a maximum sentence of a year in jail, a fine of $100,000, or both.
