WNY mom, 3 kids charged in pot bust

ALMOND, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say four members of the same family have been charged with growing large amounts of marijuana on their western New York property.
State police say Tuesday that the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force raided the Moses residence in the rural Allegany town of Almond last Wednesday and seized more than 60 pot plants and a quantity of processed marijuana. Police say the marijuana had an estimated street value of $70,000.
Pot-growing equipment and an undisclosed amount of cash were also seized.
Charged are 59-year-old Kathryn Moses and her three children: 27-year-old Kyle, 30-year-old Timothy and 25-year-old Colleen. Also arrested was 27-year-old Stephen McIntyre, who lives with the family.
All were issued appearance tickets and released. It couldn't be determined if they had lawyers.
