ARKWRIGHT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Fredonia woman has been charged with abandoning her cats by putting them in someone else's home.
State Police arrested 22-year-old Rebecca Kramer on Wednesday and charged her with second degree criminal trespass, abandonment of animals, and failure to provide sustenance. Troopers say on August 13th, Kramer opened the door to a residence on Center Road in Arkwright while the homeowner was not home and left her five cats inside.
Kramer will appear in court on August 23rd to answer the charges.
