BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say a Buffalo woman tried to smuggle marijuana into a prison. Police say an investigation conducted by the New York State Department of Corrections Inspector General’s Office determined 28-year-old Candace M. Hurst was in possession of a small amount of pot.
Police say Hurst was charged with promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was turned over to troopers in Collins, and is set to appear in court sometime Wednesday.
