Woman arrested at spa for prostitution

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 53-year-old woman is charged with prostitution after Erie County Sheriff's deputies say they caught her giving more than massages at a spa in Clarence.

Yuxia Shi, a Chinese national, was arrested on Tuesday following a six-week investigation into illicit activities at the Green Spa massage parlor on Main Street in Clarence. After a verbal agreement was reached for sex, undercover police swooped in to make the arrest.

Shi has been charged with two counts of forcible touching and unlicensed massage therapy. Authorities also say they found more than $5,300 stashed throughout the building.
