Woman allegedly bought guns for gunman

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - U.S Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. made the announcement today that 24-year-old Dawn Nguyen of Greece, N.Y was arrested in connection to the Webster shooting.
She has been charged with knowingly making a false statement in connection with the purchase of two firearms used for the shooting.
Nguyen allegedly purchased a Bushmaster semiautomatic rifle and a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun from Gander Mountain.
The guns were purchased in Henrietta, N.Y. on June 6th, 2010; they were acquired on behalf of gunman William Spengler, Jr.
In addition to the federal charges, the New York State Police arrested Dawn Nguyen on one count of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree, an E Felony.
Her charges carry a maximum penalty of ten years imprisonment, a fine of $250,000,00, or both.
Nguyen was processed at the State Police in Rochester and given an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Henrietta Court on January 8, 2013 at 5:00 PM.
