WETHERSFIELD, NY (WIVB) - A Cheektowaga woman has been charged with neglect and abandonment after leaving 11 cats behind at her home in Wethersfield.
The Batavia Daily News reports that Theresa M. Miller, 49, left the animals without proper food and water and failed to make arrangements for their car after moving. Miller reportedly moved out of the home November 4.
The property owner and Wyoming County Dog Control are providing for the care of the cats until new homes can be found for them.
