LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lockport woman is facing charges after the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says a three-year-old child suffered a physical injury while in her care.

The sheriff’s office says 24-year-old Amber Richardson is facing felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, in relation to the November 21st incident.

The three-year-old child was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital, where the child was treated and released.
